Art is a journey in creation and observation.

A moment perceived and measured is defined in time but is not a finite destination and as one experiences change the evolution of the art is continual.
 

Digital collage incorporates additional forms including drawing, painting, sculpture and story telling. Images are appropriated and transformed to define the body of the work. Content is created through focus on the manipulation of the design elements. The tone or mood is an outcome of balance and contrast of both subject and design.

Iconic images I experience in every day life reflects in my work. I do not begin my art with a preconceived outcome, as the story unfolds elements are required to create an effect both visually and conceptually. The nature of my work is a symbolic interpretation of images that invites an awareness of choices.

The balance between the overall image and the narrative determines intent and mood. No didactic lessons are intended but rather stimulate question and encourage thought.
