David Pierro has been drawing and painting ever since he first became infatuated with animation as a young child, filling countless sketchbooks and often getting in trouble for constantly doodling during classes. Influenced heavily by 80's icons like GoBots and Voltron, he has worked to develop a style that combines his love of bold, stylized linework with the unique textures and aesthetics of abstract contemporary art. In the summer, he has been spotted around the city illustrating brightly colored chalk characters on sidewalks and walkways. In addition to painting and drawing, David also runs a screen printing studio out of his South Buffalo home, designing and producing original art prints as well as gig posters and small runs of collectible apparel.
